The 5-Question Quiz That Reveals If You Should Stay or Leave
Before the biggest relationship decision of your life, answer these five questions honestly. Most people only answer four.
I do not recommend the stay-or-leave decision lightly. Most people arrive at it after years of avoiding the question, then make it in a single bad week. The 5-Question Test: 1. Have you told your partner, clearly, what you need? Not implied. Not hoped for. Not "they should know." Said, in words, on a Tuesday, while sober. If the answer is no, you do not yet have data on whether the relationship can change. You have data on whether you have asked. Big difference. 2. Has your partner heard you, and chosen not to act? Different from "they did not hear." Many partners do not hear because the message was delivered in attack, not request. Once the message is delivered clean, their response is the data. If they heard and chose not to act: that is not a relationship problem. That is a relationship verdict. 3. Is the issue something you could accept forever if everything else stayed the same? This is the question most people skip. They imagine a future where everything is fixed. Fantasy.
